I'm a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. I work in Prof. Harald Paganetti's lab in the Department of Radiation Oncology. My research interests lie in the basic understanding and clinical application of proton therapy, with regard for both the physical and biological aspects. I am currently investigating Monte Carlo simulations and treatment planning.
Prior to joining medical physics in 2015, I worked in experimental particle physics. My PhD and first postdoc were undertaken at the University of Oxford, whilst analyzing data from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. The title of my thesis was The discovery and measurement of the Higgs boson in the WW decay channel. More details can be found here. I also investigated the radiation hardness of optoelectronic components (see here).
