I am currently a Junior Fellow at the Society of Fellows, Harvard University. I work mainly on 19th-century British literature, intellectual history, and the history of science, and maintain broad interests in British literature from the 18th century through the early 20th. I'm also interested in the literature of South Africa, and transnational Anglophone writing more generally.
Together with Charles Altieri and Jeffrey Blevins, I organized Logic and Literary Form, a two-day interdisciplinary conference that recently took place at the University of California, Berkeley. Details here.
