When someone struggling with financial, social, and/or psychological issues falls onto the streets, they are forced into a deep social ditch. In an increasingly digital and cashless society, this gap is only widening. We aim to leverage technology to raise connection, awareness, and foster support to city residents like us who had to cross over to the other side.
Strit provides a platform for homeless people to share their personal stories and rally local sponsors to support their path to self-sufficiency, using personalized online profiles promoted locally by them through unique QR code signs.
