Maoxuan (Mao) is a computational biologist and a former radiologist. He earned his medical degree from China Medical University, Shenyang, China. He switched his career from radiology to bioinformatics impressed by the great translational capability of bioinformatics and its significant benefits for human health. He received his Master and Doctorate degrees in Bioinformatics and Genomics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and had worked at the University of Michigan on human cardiovascular genomics and at the Forsyth Institute on the human oral microbiome. Connor O'boyle Joins the Faden Lab

Connor is a medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine who is spending a year in the Faden Lab studying head and neck cancer genomics. He grew up in Seattle, WA and attended Claremont McKenna College where he received a B.A. in Biology. He has also earned a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts.
