OVERVIEW

Dr. Gloria Yayra A. Ayee is an Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School, and a Lecturer at the Harvard Extension School. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she works with the IARA Project, leading the "Global Justice, Truth-Telling, and Healing" study.

Dr. Ayee is a political scientist with expertise in race and ethnic politics, behavior and identity politics, American politics, African politics, and comparative politics. Her research interests include human rights, transitional justice, truth and reconciliation commissions, political reconciliation, politics and popular culture, political communication, gender and politics, and immigrant political incorporation.

Dr. Ayee is an affiliated faculty member with the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and a faculty associate with the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.
