Alex Heyde

Alex is currently a Schmidt Science Fellow in Daniel Fisher's group at Stanford University.

In his research, Alex studies theoretical models of evolutionary dynamics to better understand clonal heterogeneity, cancer progression, and metastasis. His work combines methods from mathematics, biology, medicine, computer science, statistics, and applied physics.

He received his PhD, MS, and BA at Harvard University, where he was co-advised by Martin Nowak and L. Mahadevan.
