Global Cohort of Doctoral Students

During my time at Harvard Chan, I was involved with the formation of the Global Cohort of Doctoral Students. The Global Cohort of Doctoral Students is a community of public health doctoral students around the world seeking to build shared global health research capacity through reciprocal learning. We engage in collaborative research, constructive forums for feedback, and professional development activities.

You can read more about the formation of the Global Cohort here, and learn more about our 2019 Seminar on Reciprocal Capacity Building in Global Health here. Funding for the seminar and annual conference were generously provided by the Deborah Rose Foundation, Department of Epidemiology, and Department of Global Health and Population.

In 2021, we published a viewpoint article in the Annals of Global Health describing the structure of the program and lessons learned.
