Hello!
I am a current creative writing and literature graduate student studying dramatic writing.
I have always been interested in finding patterns in speech and sound from a scientific, creative, and emotional lens. We are born to the sound of silence, or to our own screaming voice.
I started my undergraduate degree as a Physics major and Theatre minor. I wanted the mic to amplify my own voice and to record the unlistened to voices of others. As a computer science student, I worked on machine learning algorithms to assist with acoustic classification. I believe that the physics behind a travelling voice is fundamental to a just and empathetic society.
