Biography

I'm an economist with research interests in Economic History, Political Economy, and Cultural Economics. I combine historical data with quasi-experimental research designs to shed light on the interplay of institutions, culture, and economic development.

Prior to joining the faculty at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, and an M.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics from the Hebrew University.
