Bio

Janice is an experienced strategist and problem solver. She has worked across industries on local, national, and global platforms to influence outcomes and lead hearing innovation and technology. She is the CEO of Hearing Access & Innovations, the leading company dedicated to helping businesses, cultural and entertainment institutions, government agencies, and mass transit organizations improve accessibility for people with hearing loss globally, including disrupting the hearing aid monopoly. The FDA's Proposed Over-the-Counter Regulations cite Janice's FDA testimony in its footnotes. 

Janice leveraged her undergraduate Marketing and law degrees to transform hearing access in the US and globally for her daughter, a graduate student at an ivy league university.

Congressmember Paul Tonko awarded Janice Congressional Recognition in 2022. Janice's other awards include 2022 NYS Disability Rights Hall of Fame Inductee, 2018 Bill and Melinda Goalkeepers Foundations Partnership with TPG Recipient, 2016 Aspen Institute Spotlight on Health Scholar, 2016 Nominated United State of Women Changemaker, and 2008 People Magazine Hero. 

She was a member of the US Access Board's Rail and Passenger Vessel Committees, the NYS Interagency Council for the Deaf Deaf-Blind, Hard of Hearing committee, where she was appointed twice by former Governor Paterson. In 2015, Mayor Bloomberg appointed her to the NYC Taxi of Tomorrow Committee. FCC Chairman Martin appointed her twice to the FCC's Consumer Advisory Committee. 

Janice has used global best practices since she traveled to 143 UN countries and 199 countries, territories, and unrecognized nations.
