About Me

Hi! I am a fifth year math graduate student studying combinatorics, being advised by Lauren Williams. I am based out of Cambridge, MA. During the Fall 2022 semester, I was working and living in Paris, France at Université Paris Cité. Generally, I am interested in positroids and other positive generalizations of matroid constructions. I am currently also thinking about categorification and how that helps us to understand the cluster structure on positroid varieties. While in France, I explored (and am now continuing to explore) quivers with potential under the supervision of Bernhard Keller. I enjoy working on my teaching skills and look forward to opportunities to share my passion for math with others!

I strive to be an active member of my community. I am heavily involved with the Directed Reading Program at Harvard. This program pairs undergraduate students with graduate student mentors to to learn a new topic together. I am particularly passionate about using this program as a tool to introduce new students to the math department and to advanced mathematics. The combination of low stakes and individualized attention from an experienced mentor makes the directed reading program an accesible entry point for students who may not otherwise have considered any advanced math classes. I also serve on the Harvard Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Student Council (GSC) as the chair of support. In this role, I am responsible for programs like conference grants and research grants which support students' academic progress. I am further responsible for organizing short, graduate-student-taught courses during the January term. A recent project I have taken on is working on the GSC constitutional revision committee. I am also proud to serve on the Harvard Honor Council.

I completed my undergraduate studies at McGill University in my hometown of Montreal, QC. When I am not doing math, you can often find me climbing, biking or working on a puzzle!
