Bio

I was born in Austin, TX, but spent my childhood living all over Mexico, including Jalisco, Tamaulipas, Yucatán and Veracruz. My family returned to Texas in the early 2000s.

It was at the University of Texas at Austin that I discovered my love for the Classics as a freshman in first-year Greek. After receiving my BA in Classics and Linguistics, I studied at UC–Berkeley for a couple of years before coming to Harvard.

After a wonderful six years at Harvard, I'm back in Texas finishing my dissertation while on completion fellowship. When not working, I'm usually with family, cooking or watching baseball.
