Bio

Jourdyn is a social epidemiologist whose research focuses on addressing racism as a cause of racial health inequities. Her research interests also include quantitative methods in social epidemiology, measurement of race and racism, and social policy. Her work primarily examines the health and experiences of middle-aged and older adults in the United States. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a doctoral affiliate with the François-Xavier Bagnoud Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard and the Center for Antiracist Research at Boston University.
