I am a PhD Candidate in Political Economy and Government at Harvard University and an affiliate at the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Science. My research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, political economy and economic history. Most recently, I have been working on intergenerational mobility, state capacity and economic development in Latin America.
I have a M.A and a B.A. in Economics from Universidad de los Andes at Bogotá, Colombia. Prior to graduate school, I worked at Universidad de los Andes and the Inter-American Development Bank.
