About me

Kathryn completed her Doctor of Science degree in the Global Health and Population department of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (spring 2018). Her research focuses on risks, interventions, and costs in early life health and development. Kathryn is grateful for dissertation support from the Julius B. Richmond Fellowship Program, a Behavioral Interventions Scholars fellowship from the Administration for Children and Families (Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation) and her dissertation committee (Drs. Goodarz Danaei, Gunther Fink, Margaret McConnell, and Joshua Salomon).

Prior to coming to Harvard, Kathryn was a data analyst for the World Health Organization's Global Malaria Programme, and a Post-Bachelor Fellow at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. She received her Masters of Public Health from the University of Washington, and her undergraduate degree in English and Public Health from Dartmouth College.
