I recently completed my Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astrophysics at Harvard University working with Edo Berger. My current research is on astrophysical transients, including tidal disruption events (TDEs), gamma ray bursts (GRBs), and gravitational wave counterparts, with a focus on radio observations. I have also dabbled in the study of radio supernovae.
I previously studied the cosmic microwave background (CMB), seeking to understand the early Universe as a member of the BICEP/Keck collaboration. I spent most of my time focused on developing and validating better likelihood techniques for combining CMB datasets. This work contributed towards the best constraints to date on the tensor-to-scalar ratio r from a joint analysis of the Planck, BICEP2, and Keck datasets. I also spent a month at the South Pole, Antarctica upgrading the Keck Array telescope. You can read my blog about my adventures here.
