For the summer of 2019, I am working in the Chandra X-ray Center (CXC) as a visiting student in the high-energy astrophysics division on the Chandra X-ray galaxy atlas under Dr. Dong-Woo Kim.

Previously, I was an international Nakatani Research Fellow in the Solid State Spectroscopy Group at Kyoto University, Japan, where I was involved with work on the terahertz microscopy of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs). This work was the first time that carrier dynamics of ultrathin TMDs were found to be observable using the novel noninvasive THz microscopy technique, opening new potential in nanomaterial imaging.
