About

My research interests are based in the optical and infrared wavelength regimes, which enable the probing of star formation processes through dust heating from AGN activity thereby opening new understanding in galaxy formation and evolution. I am also interested in how developments in new materials and imaging techniques derived from experimental optical physics can further astronomical instrumentation with new detector technologies.

I am an 4th year undergraduate in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, working in the group of Prof. Alexandra Pope.
