New author photos

I did a photoshoot with the amazing Elena Hmeleva in Paris earlier this month because I needed some updated professional author photos, and these are some of the results. I was quite uncomfortable at first, but she was a pro and got me to relax and enjoy myself. I especially love how Elena managed to evoke the spirit of Paris in so many of the images.

Happy to be there for the Jolly Vintners American debut

So, I actually went to New York for an international trade show on Tuesday despite the surging number of COVID case from the Delta variant in the United States. One of my oldest Bulgarian friends was launching his wine for the U.S. market, hoping to find a U.S. distributor. It's funny how few Americans know where Bulgaria is or that it is even an independent country.
