About my research

I am a postdoctoral researcher working with the Biogeochemistry of Global Contaminants group in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. My research interests revolve broadly around the biogeochemical cycling of contaminants and their impact on human health. Currently, I am investigating the biotransformation behavior of aqueous fire fighting foam (AFFF) derived per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at a contaminated site on Cape Cod, MA, with the goal of a better understanding of their local fate and pathways of human exposure.
