Learning Lab Undergraduate Fellow (team member and researcher at a center devoted to improving educational experience across different media)

  • Tested assignments for Teaching Fellows at Harvard and offered insights to various methods of media integration for the classroom
  • Learned and broadened Photoshop, HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript, and video skills

  • Drafted and contributed to routine cables, briefings, and reports to further U.S. Foreign Policy goals.
  • Participated in meetings, events, and receptions with senior-level U.S. diplomats and foreign government officials.
  • Supported the 4-day visit of Chief NASA Scientist Dr. Garvin to Lisbon and attended the Global Explorers Summit.

  • Designed and created a speech production experiment, recruited >40 participants for another experiment, wrote 2 literature reviews and 1 methods section, translated German master’s thesis research into English

Alliance for Minority Participation Conference 2016, American Physical Society Conference 2016

  • Synthesized nanomaterials (primarily Carbon Dots), characterized nanomaterials and managed USDA-IFSEEN project data relating to spectroscopic analysis.
  • Learned various characterization methods including Transmission Electron Microscopy, Hydrogen Evolution, X Ray diffraction and Spectroscopy.
  • Co-authored and edited a paper published in Electrochimica Acta 273.
