  • Lauren Jean O'Donnell, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She received her Ph.D. from the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program at MIT as part of the Medical Vision Group at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Her research interests are computational analysis of diffusion imaging and modeling of functional and structural relationships in the brain.

    Lauren's research group develops open-source software for diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (dmri.slicer.org) and white matter fiber clustering (github.com/SlicerDMRI/whitematteranalysis). Lauren collaborates with the Golby Lab for surgical brain mapping and the Laboratory of Mathematics in Imaging at Harvard Medical School. She also performs flamenco dance and has begun to write fiction.
