    Dr. Leandro (Leo) Grimaldi is a Harvard-trained physician-scientist and healcthcare executive with over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of biopharma, innovation, and leadership. Former strategy and management consultant, he has a passion for drug discovery and development, creating strategic and symbiotic alliances, and the use of new, digitally-enabled technologies to improve patient's lives. His background includes working with Top Biopharmaceutical & CRO companies, Government and Academic bodies, VC Firms, and world-class start ups. Amongst his most salient 2020 accomplishments, he was part of the core team leading the genesis of a virtual biopharma company backed with ~U$D 3+ Billion of venture capital funds.

    Leo's core capabilities include strategic operations (with a focus on hyper-performing teams and change management), preclinical and clinical research, digital health, business development and strategic alliances management, and cross-functional team leadership, combined with a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy. He served as a consultant for the White House (HHS), the World Health Organization, and several Fortune 500 companies. 

    Recipient of numerous awards in the US and overseas for his work as a public health professional and leader, health advocate for vulnerable populations, the pursuit of equity in the public policy world, and for being a source of inspiration for those brought up in resource constrained environments like him.
