Research

I work on various registration projects, including surface and volumetric registration of brain MRI images and diffusion weighted image (DWI) alignment. I am interested in research initiatives where statistical and information theoretic approaches can be applied. My focus recently has been infant brain MRI imaging both in vivo and ex vivo.

My home laboratory is the Laboratory of Computational Neuroimaging (LCN) at the A.A. Martinos Center, MGH. Our group develops and maintains the FreeSurfer computational toolset and we teach 2-3 annual classes on its use.
