I received my PhD in Romance Languages & Literatures in May 2021 from Harvard University. My doctoral dissertation examines the literal and figurative roles of noise, dissonance, and disruption in nineteenth-century French literature, history, and culture.

My research has been supported by Harvard's Romance Languages & Literatures Department, la Société des Professeurs Français et Francophones d'Amérique, and the Center for European Studies at Harvard University.
