Current Position: Computer science Major at Howard.
Naomi is an applied math major, computer science and biology minor at Howard University with a passion for epidemiology and mathematical biology. She is currently working on a clustering epidemiological project, looking at tuberculosis data from the Netherlands to see what kind of clusters arise within cities. This project aims to find links between strain type and the national origins of patients to detect any sympatric problems. She looks forward to working in this field to use computational methods to better the health of underserved and at-risk populations around the world.
