I am Senior Manager, Research and Evaluation of the Australian Education Research Organisation. I work with a team of researchers to generate high-quality evidence, make high-quality evidence accessible, and enhance the use of evidence in Australian education.
I am also an Instructor and Ph.D. Candidate at Harvard Graduate School of Education. I teach courses in general pedagogy and teacher policy.
My personal research focuses on issues related to teacher supply and teacher education. I am particularly interested in problems of research design, measurement, and evaluation.
Previously I have worked for various organisations including the Australian Department of Education, Teach for the Philippines, and Teach for Australia. I began my career as a high school social sciences teacher in Canberra, Australia. I hold a Ph.B. (Honours) degree from the Australian National University; an MTeach (Secondary) from the University of Melbourne; and an Ed.M. (Education Policy and Management) from HGSE.
