The CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG) is initiating a Webinar Series on combatting academic corruption based on the 2016 IIEP-CIQG Advisory Statement for Effective International Practice.  As we move forward in our quest to combat corrupt practices around the globe, we ask that you join us for this important and engaging event.

This first Webinar will be guided by an esteemed panel of experts:

  • Goolam Mohamedbhai – former Secretary General of the Association of African Universities
  • Manja Klemenčič – Sociology Lecturer, Harvard University

  • Stamenka Uvalić-Trumbić – CHEA’s Senior Advisor on International Affairs


This first Webinar will address:

  • In what areas of corruption might the international quality assurance community take a prominent role?
  • What kinds of actions might the community take?
  • How do we galvanize our quality assurance colleagues to provide leadership to combat corruption? 
  • As the international quality assurance community moves forward, who are our natural allies and stakeholders and how do we reach out to them? 
  • How might responses to these questions provide a foundation for the development of an action plan?
