Erin Bove-Fenderson, PhD, worked in the Mannstadt lab as a medical/science writer. She holds a PhD from the Biochemistry Department at Boston University School of Medicine, where she studied the molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's Disease.

Guido has a Bachelor’s in Medicine from VU University in Amsterdam and worked on mouse parathyroid cells with Dr. Li as part of his MD program internship at the VUmc school of Medical Sciences.

Emily Gentile - Clinical Research Assistant
Emily graduated from the George Washington University in May 2016 with a degree in public health, after which she joined the Endocrine Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Clinical Research Assistant. Emily worked on both on an extension study of a long-term open label clinical trial investigating full-length recombinant human PTH(1-84) as a replacement therapy in patients with hypoparathyroidism, and a registry study examining the natural history of chronic hypoparathyroidism.

Kelly Lauter Roszko – Research Fellow
Dr. Lauter’s interest in Endocrinology began during her M.D., Ph.D. training at the University of Connecticut (supervisor Dr. Andrew Arnold). After completing residency and Endocrine fellowship at The Massachusetts General Hospital, Kelly worked in Dr. Mannstadt’s laboratory where she created and studied a mouse model for Autosomal-dominant hypocalcemia 2.

Bi "David" Ruiye - Research Fellow
Bi “David” Ruiye, DMD, received his dental degree at Sichuan University in Chengdu, China, the oldest and most prestigious dental school in China. He entered a PhD program and joined the Endocrine Unit in March 2013. David developed animal models of hypoparathyroidism and showed the ability of long-acting PTH to correct the mineral abnormalities, a promising approach for the treatment of this disease.

Emily served as a study coordinator for the pivotal phase 3 trial investigating human recombinant PTH(1-84) for hypoparathyroidism. She was accepted at Medical School.

Wenping Zhao – Research Fellow
Dr. Zhao worked as a Research Fellow on characterization of the function of a parathyroid-specific transcription factor using knock-in mice and ChIP-seq, allowing him to develop and enhance his research skills and earning promotion to Instructor at HMS. Dr. Zhao started a research position in industry.
