Dr. Martin White

Dr. Martin White is a Scottish chromosome biologist.  Having completed his PhD with Prof. David Leach at The University of Edinburgh, he now works under the supervision of Prof. Nancy Kleckner in Harvard University's Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology.  His current research interests focus on the use of quantitative imaging techniques for investigating the mechanisms by which genes are sampled and shuffled prior to transmission from parent to offspring.

MAYosis 2021: a virtual symposium series from the organizers that brought us the global hit "Meiosis In Quarantine".  Taking place on Thursdays 10am EDT though May and early June, the format is 4 talks (15 minutes + 10 min discussion).  One invited speaker per session with the other three slots picked from submitted abstracts.  For more info, click their logo to get to their homepage.
