Dr. Matt Young, MD, JD, MBA, CMQ, FCLM, Esq., is a member of the corporate board of the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Foundation at Adams House, Harvard College, where he is also a member of the Senior Common Room.

Dr. Young received his MD from Harvard Medical School, JD from Harvard Law School, and AB from Harvard College.

For five years, Dr. Young served as Resident Tutor in Law, Music, and Medicine at Pforzheimer House, Harvard College, where he was honored for “exemplary intellectual and personal guidance of undergraduate students.” Dr. Young continues to advise Harvard students in all matters, including personal, academic, and professional advising and assistance with medical and law school applications.

He is now a trial attorney at Ross Feller Casey LLP with a law practice focused on representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice actions. 

As a nationally recognized advocate in patient safety and healthcare quality, Dr. Young also serves on the board of Health Watch USA, a patient advocacy organization that promotes healthcare value, transparency, and quality. He also sits on the board of Attorneys for the Rights of the Child (ARC), a non-profit organization founded to secure equal protection for, and broaden judicial and public recognition of, children’s legal and human rights to bodily integrity and self-determination.
