Michelle Joseph, MBBS BSc(Hons) MSc PhD FRCS, is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon and Chief Strategy and Health Equity Officer at the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change. Her academic work involves trauma systems and health equity research. The lab focuses on three main bodies of work: (1) Trauma Systems Strengthening, (2) Civilian-Military Engagement and Disaster Response, and (3) Social Justice, Health Equity, and Anti-Racism.
