Short biography

I am a postdoctoral fellow working in computational cancer biology in the laboratory of John Quackenbush at the department of Biostatistics and Computational Biology of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the department of Biostatistics of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. I obtained my PhD (2013) in cancer genomics from Leiden University, the Netherlands, working in the department of Pathology on integration of multi-omics data in bone and soft tissue sarcomas. My long term research interests focus on understanding gene regulation in healthy tissues and in using this information to map the complex patterns that are disrupted in cancer networks to understand cancer development and progression and to identify new targets for treatments.
