I am a fourth year in the Public Policy PhD program at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. My research primarily focuses on access to and completion of college. I am interested in how students make decisions about whether and where to attend college, issues impeding college completion, and how college choices are related to labor market opportunities. My current projects focus on how high school counselors, siblings, communities and online resources influence students' college choices. Prior to starting my Ph.D. I worked at Ithaka S+R on their Educational Transformation team. I worked on projects with colleges in Maryland and Virginia researching financial aid policies, online education, and higher education leadership.
