The Napadow Lab is seeking 2 research assistants interested in neuroimaging. These positions are expected to start in June 2022 and a minimum of two years of commitment is required. This is a great opportunity for recent undergraduates who would like to pursue a career in research before attending a graduate program. The Napadow Lab is a very supportive environment for new researchers and there are many opportunities for personal growth such as learning new data analysis skills and working closely with patients.
Research Assistant I
The Napadow Lab at is seeking an individual interested in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, psychology, chronic pain, mindfulness, or related field for a full-time position as a Clinical Research Assistant I. The Migraine Relief study is investigating the effects of different stress-reduction interventions on patients with frequent migraines. This study is a collaboration with researchers at the MGH Martinos Center, where study participants have their brains scanned with advanced imaging techniques such as functional MRI and positron emission tomography. The Center for Mindfulness and Compassion is responsible for monitoring safety and coordinating the therapeutic intervention visits as part of this study. This position is ideal for someone interested in learning more about neuroimaging, mindfulness treatments, and study coordination.
