Curriculum Vitae

I am currently a postdoc researcher in Steve Flavell's group at the Picower Institute for Learning and Memory at MIT.   Previously, I was a postdoc for two years at the Department of Physics and the Center for Brain Science at Harvard University. From September 2009 to August 2013, I was a PhD student and briefly a postdoc researcher with Professor Alexander van Oudenaarden, then at MIT. In 2007, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Physics from Berea College (KY), a beautiful liberal arts college at the foot of the Appalacian Mountains. Prior to that, I spent my childhood and adolescent years in Nanjing, China.
