Hi, my name is Niki. Thanks for visiting my website.
I am a Harvard student, pursuing my college degree in the study of Economics, with minors in Computer Science and Finance.1 To fund tuition, textbooks, and a tantalizing array of colorful writing instruments, I work full-time as a database administrator. This means that my academic pursuits are done mostly at nights and on weekends.2 My journey at Harvard started when I discovered edX.org.
On most days, I run on caffeine, curiosity, and
Crunchy Cheetos my commitment to continuous learning.3 You can read more on the HESA & HGC page.
2Like most universities, Harvard has a number of schools designed to provide specialized education to fit the students' learning needs. The Extension School under Harvard's Division of Continuing Education (DCE) caters to distance, part-time, and unconventional students like me. While the admissions process and requirements at Harvard Extension School (HES) are different from those at Harvard College, prospective HES degree candidates must prove their ability to perform at the honors level and earn their way into the program.
3"It ain't easy being cheesy!" When your office mates serve up this custom birthday cake, you suddenly come to a realization that you have a junk food problem. So, in 2018, I broke up with Chester Cheetah. No more Crunchy Cheetos for me.
