Commitment is deeply liberating"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating -- in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life."
-- Anne Morriss, Starbucks customer from New York City. She describes herself as an "organization builder, restless American citizen, optimist."
About this Photo
This photograph was taken in the small kitchen of our old apartment in Houston, Texas. According to my spotty record-keeping, the snapshot was either taken some time in January 2009, or that was the date I finally saved the media file to my computer. Judging from the quality of the picture, it was taken with a very low quality flip-phone camera (remember those things?).
