Sacrifices we make for success
"By the time executives get married, take on a mortgage, raise kids, cope with the crabgrass, climb the corporate ladder, do their best to manage career pressures, build their net worth and get into their 40s, they’ve lost touch with what they believe in and care about most deeply."-- Allan Cox, CEO coach and author of Your Inner CEO: Unleash the Executive Within.
About the Photo
This photograph was taken in the waiting area of an airport. Judging from the size of my carry-on, this must have been around the time I visited a dear friend of mine in Charleston, South Carolina in January during the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend in 2009. If I'm not mistaken, the person sitting in the background might have been a monk.
