Bio

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research focuses on the role of geography in the advanced democracies. I am particularly interested in how local economies influence vote choice, whether parties can effectively use geographic appeals, and how shifts in economic geography have contributed to changes in party systems.

I received my BA from Yale University in History and Political Science in 2018, and my MA in Government from Harvard in 2020.
