Bio

Duccio Martelli, Ph.D., is assistant professor of finance at the University of Perugia (Italy) and visiting professor at Harvard University. He has also been visiting professor of finance at the University of Applied Sciences of Augsburg in Germany.
He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in behavioral finance, corporate finance, private banking and financial markets, and his main research interests include behavioral and neuro finance, financial education, responsible finance and real estate finance.
Dr Martelli holds a Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and has presented his research work at national and international conferences and has published several academic papers in international refereed journals, including European Financial Management and Journal of Economics and Business. He also serves as referee of several peer-reviewed finance journals.
In addition to teaching, Dr Martelli serves in different scientific committees of foundations and research centers and advises firms and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of financial education and asset management.
