Bio

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. I am also the Faculty Director of the Mind, Brain, and Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. My research focuses on the neurocognitive mechanisms of reading and language comprehension and how they vary across individuals and throughout development. I apply advanced cross-disciplinary methods -- including adult and pediatric multimodal neuroimaging, randomized control interventions, psycholinguistic experiments, and longitudinal methods to understand individual differences in the precise computations related to language comprehension in early development.
