Puṣpitāgrā

The puṣpitāgra meter is the most common of the ardhasamavṛtta meters. It contains 50 syllables in total: the odd quarters have twelve syllables, and the even quarters have thirteen. Its syllabic pattern is as follows:

This definition refers to the aparavaktra, which Hemacandra defined in the previous sūtra. The aparavaktra has the schema LLLLLLGLGLG LLLLGLLGLGLG, and the puṣpitāgrā is the same but with an additional G at the end of each quarter.
