I am Pablo and I'm a senior in Cabot House studying Government with a secondary in European History, Politics, and Societies and a Language Certificate in Danish. Apart from classes, I am the Director of Operations for Campus YMCA, a national college professional development program and model congress. I am also working for Voters Choose to bring better voting to communities across the United States, specifically through a system we call Rank and Add. I have also worked on organizing the European Conference at the Kennedy School. In the Fall of 2017, I was a liaison for Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell at the Institute of Politics. While in high school, I discovered my passion for policymaking, civic education, human rights, and politics through the YMCA's Youth and Government program. In my spare time, I enjoy watching movies, drinking coffee, and finding any excuse to travel.
I look forward to getting to know prospective and current government concentrators to talk about classes and the fantastic resources available to us through the department. I am also happy to talk about extracurriculars, both on-campus and off-campus, summer plans, and my experiences working at a large non-profit, an international NGO, and the European Union. The best thing about concentrating in Government is the flexibility to explore your insterests and passions, no matter how specific or broad they may be!
