I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from the University of Cambridge. After having moved from one Cambridge to another, I am currently pursuing a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry Modelling under the supervision of Dr. Loretta Mickley and Professor Daniel Jacob, in the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences at Harvard University. My research focuses on improving our understanding of the interactions between climate change and atmospheric chemical composition, important for climate and human health, through the combined use of models and observations. I am currently investigating how human-caused climate change may influence airborne dust levels in the western United States.

Having witnessed the politicization and denial of climate science in the U.S. policy and public spheres, and compelled by the knowledge that our current sociopolitical ambitions are incommensurate with the urgency and magnitude of the climate crisis, I have developed a strong interest in climate science communication, policy, and advocacy. Since 2014, I have helped to lead and participate in several climate advocacy campaigns, ranging from fossil fuel divestment to attending the 2014 U.N. climate change negotiations (COP20) as a SustainUS youth delegate. My most recent project is Tip Of The Iceberg - an e-newsletter communicating the latest climate/energy science and policy news, and ways individuals can take action.

In my free time, I like to travel and develop my web and graphics design skills. You can see examples of my work below, and at ClimateSelfieProject.org or MITclimatecountdown.org.
