Bio

I am a lecturer in the History and Literature Program at Harvard University. My research and teaching interests focus on migration, race, ethnicity, labor, and working-class history in the 19th and 20th century United States. I received my PhD in History from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2016. Before coming to Harvard, I was a visiting fellow at the James Weldon Johnson Institute for the Study of Race and Difference at Emory University. I am currently working on a book manuscript on the history of deportation practice during the 1920s.
