Raaj is an internal medicine physician and gastroenterology fellow at the Massachussetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. His research interests lie at the intersection of bioinformatics, epidemiology, microbiology, and immunology.
He graduated from The Lawrenceville School in 2006, from Princeton University in 2010 with a degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and with a certificate from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs, and with a degree in medicine from Harvard in 2016. He was a Fulbright scholar to Ecuador from 2010 to 2011 and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Medical Research Fellow from 2014 to 2015.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine, through the Stanbury Physician-Scientist Pathway, at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and was a Chief Resident at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
