Economics 1036: The Psychology & Economics of Beliefs

This seminar focuses on how individuals and groups come to form beliefs.  The course involves readings in various fields, full participation in discussions, a short presentation, math-based problems sets, and research-oriented written assignments, and requires a background in economics, math, and statistics.  Please visit the canvas page for the syllabus, or click on Syllabus.

Economics 1036 requires an application prior to, and separate from, acceptance of a petition through my.harvard. To apply for the course, please first read the material indicated below and then send an email to Professor Rabin with pdf attachments of (1) your completed information sheet, (2) cv/resume, and (3) a complete Harvard course transcript (unofficial is fine). The class will meet Wednesdays 9.45 to 11.45 am, in Room M15 of Littauer Center. This is a participation-based seminar course; class size is limited, and determined by consent of instructor, based on a student application.
