WLR Participation In International Publishers Association Regional Seminar

Dr. Rana Dajani (Founder of WLR) participated in a panel discussion at the International Publishers Association Regional Seminar, Amman. The seminar, “Read. Empower. Transform: The Role of Reading for the Future of the Arab World”, the panel took place on 30th of September and 1st of October 2019 in Amman, Jordan.

The conference, entitled ‘Read, Enable, Evolution’, discussed the role of reading in the future of the Arab world and the development of the next generation of writers and publishers. the work.
Improving the publishing industry and developing the next generation of publishers in the Arab world is taking advantage of the experiences of publishers, writers and artists.
The sessions also discussed how governments recognize the vital role of industries in supporting sustainable development and developing the future workforce for publishing and creative industries to meet the changing skill requirements of industries. And embrace portable digital reading devices, and that these shifts have significant implications for the workforce skills required in the creative industries.
The International Publishers Association plays important roles that promote progress and build a future for publishing in the region through collaboration. They are building a community of actors who are changing the future of the Middle East.
At the end of the conference, certificates were presented to a number of participants, including Dr. Rana Dajani.
