Rishi J Desai, MS, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Epidemiologist in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Within the Division, Dr. Desai is an active contributor to several research groups, including the Active Surveillance Analytics in Pharmacoepidemiology program (ASAP) and Program on Rheumatologic, Immunologic, and Musculoskeletal pharmacoEpidemiology (PRIME). He is also the Operations Chief for the FDA Sentinel Innovation Center.
Prior to joining the Division as a Postdoctoral Fellow, he received his research doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Master’s in Pharmacy Administration from the University of Houston. He is clinically trained with a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Sardar Patel University, Gujarat, India.
